Neurodegenerative disease in general
Since 2008, the Centre for Ageing and Supportive Environments (CASE) at Lund University (LU) and the Aging Research Center (ARC) at Karolinska Institutet have collaborated to develop and coordinate research-level education on ageing. In addition to the establishment of CASE and ARC graduate schools, we will continue our joint effort to establish a National Platform for Graduate Studies on Ageing; an efficient and creative national cooperation among Swedish Higher Education Institutions that offer research-level courses on ageing. The CASE Graduate School has a well-established and well attended program, and a structured process for quality assurance and development managed by a part-time Study Director and a Working Committee. It has a clear organisation, concentrates on supervision, offers a systematic course program, and builds on collaborations among disciplines that involve three faculties.
