Research Abstract
This project seeks to understand the cell and molecular mechanisms of T-regulatory cell-mediated protection against disease progression in a mouse model of MND. We have strong preliminary evidence that stimulating T-regulatory cells in MND mice slows disease progression. Here, we will determine the molecular factors produced by T-regulatory cells conferring protection in MND.
