Several provinces (financially) support the development of integrated care for persons with dementia. This complements the national policy to establish integrated care (part of the plan ‘caring for people with dementia). As a spin off the patients’ organisation started the development of a integrated standard for dementia care, covering cure, long term care en social care. This development is funded by the government.
