{"id":5335,"date":"2015-11-23T09:30:09","date_gmt":"2015-11-23T09:30:09","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.neurodegenerationresearch.eu\/?p=5335"},"modified":"2015-11-23T11:31:32","modified_gmt":"2015-11-23T11:31:32","slug":"joint-transnational-call-for-research-proposals-preannouncement","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/neurodegenerationresearch.eu\/cs\/2015\/11\/joint-transnational-call-for-research-proposals-preannouncement\/","title":{"rendered":"Joint Transnational Call for Research Proposals \u2013 Preannouncement"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The EU Joint Programme \u2013 Neurodegenerative Disease Research (JPND) will\u00a0shortly begin another action to support working groups on <strong>&#8222;Harmonisation\u00a0and Alignment in Brain Imaging Methods for Neurodegeneration&#8220;<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The aim of the call is to establish a limited number of transnational, JPND-sponsored expert\u00a0working groups to address issues of key relevance for the future use of brain imaging\u00a0techniques in ND research. Each working group can bid up to \u20ac50,000 for support of its\u00a0activities, which are expected to run for a maximum of 6 months.<\/p>\n<p>This will be a 1-step call, anticipated to launch in early January 2016, with a likely submission\u00a0deadline of March 2016. Further details will be provided on the call launch date in January\u00a02016. However, any new ideas to tackle harmonisation and alignment in brain imaging\u00a0will be welcome.
