{"id":3806,"date":"2014-10-27T21:35:03","date_gmt":"2014-10-27T21:35:03","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.neurodegenerationresearch.eu\/?p=3806"},"modified":"2014-12-04T10:21:34","modified_gmt":"2014-12-04T10:21:34","slug":"results-from-jpnd-transnational-calls-on-cross-disease-analysis-and-preventive-strategies","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/neurodegenerationresearch.eu\/hr\/2014\/10\/results-from-jpnd-transnational-calls-on-cross-disease-analysis-and-preventive-strategies\/","title":{"rendered":"Results from Transnational Calls on Cross Disease Analysis and Preventive Strategies"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>A total of fifteen\u00a0international consortia have been proposed for funding under two JPND Transnational calls between a total of 18 countries.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>These new projects are aiming to a<span style=\"color: #183f4d;\">nalyse neurodegenerative diseases across traditional clinical boundaries<\/span>, and also to begin\u00a0<span style=\"color: #183f4d;\">\u201cpilot\u201d studies for the design of preventive strategies.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>The projects are supported under two JPND transnational calls for proposals entitled:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a title=\"Call Results\" href=\"https:\/\/www.neurodegenerationresearch.eu\/initiatives\/annual-calls-for-proposals\/closed-calls\/european-research-projects-for-pilot-studies-on-preventive-strategies-related-to-neurodegenerative-diseases\/call-results-2\/\">A call for European research projects for\u00a0Cross-Disease Analysis of Pathways related to Neurodegenerative Diseases<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a title=\"Call Results\" href=\"https:\/\/www.neurodegenerationresearch.eu\/initiatives\/annual-calls-for-proposals\/closed-calls\/preventive-strategies-2013\/results-of-call-for-pilot-studies-on-preventive-strategies\/\">A call for European research projects for\u00a0pilot studies on preventive strategies related to Neurodegenerative Diseases<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The calls were launched in December 2013 with\u00a0a pre-proposal deadline of March 2014. Sixteen\u00a0countries participated in each call.<\/p>\n<p>The project proposals have been proposed for funding by the respective Peer Review Panels based on scientific evaluation and by the
