In order to collect the perspectives of key stakeholder groups who did not engage with the previous questionnaire-consultation exercise and stakeholder workshops, a series of targeted teleconference consultations were held in August-October 2011.
Individuals representing Europe-wide organisations or initiatives from the categories listed below were approached for their perspectives on the key issues relevant to their area:

- Information and communications technology (ICT)
- Medical devices
- Healthcare providers and professionals
