The CENIT was launched in 2006 to stimulate private-public partnership in industrial research, through funding, by means of subsidies of up to 50%, large scale and major scientific-technical consortium projects aimed at planned research in future technology areas and with potential international projection, whose mission is to generate new knowledge that may be useful to create new products, processes or services or to integrate strategic technologies.
