Research Abstract


Voor mensen met dementie en hun mantelzorgers zijn veel hulpmiddelen beschikbaar die kunnen helpen om zelfstandig thuis te blijven wonen. Het blijkt echter nog moeilijk om te kiezen welke ondersteuning in welke situatie goede resultaten oplevert en hoe passende pakketten kunnen worden samengesteld bij verschillende situaties. De consortiumpartners van FIT gaan aan het werk om hulpmiddelen in kaart te brengen en te onderzoeken hoe een betere afstemming gemaakt kan worden op de vragen naar ondersteuning door mensen die geconfronteerd worden met dementie. For people with dementia and their caregivers, there are many tools available that can help to live independently at home. However, it appears difficult to choose which support in which situation gives good results and how appropriate packages can be put together in different situations. The FIT consortium partners are working to map tools and investigate how to better match the issues of support by people facing dementia.
