The project NPU4NUDZ is thematically, divided into eight integrated together main objectives, which include: 1) neurobiology and animal modeling of mental disorders including dementia and aging, development and preclinical testing of new psychopharmacological drugs, and the risk assessment of new synthetic drugs, 2) research on the epidemiology of mental disorders and strategic care planning, 3) brain imaging and advanced analytics multimodal prospective database 4) epidemiology, prevention and treatment of addictions, reducing the health, economic and social impacts of drug use, 5) research and treatment of sleep disorders and circadian rhythms, 6) use of advanced electrophysiology methods in basic and translational research, diagnosis and prediction of treatment response, 7) clinical and research center of excellence in psychiatry, 8) build a base for innovation, technology transfer and knowledge management. NPU4NUDZ project will have 200 employees (FTE) and allow the professional activity of the Centre fully responsible for maintaining the strategically vital interdependence hierarchically structured research, which includes an integrated basic and clinical research, together with the whole of society and rebuilt plane) scientific knowledge, b) pre- and post-graduate education c) comprehensive care for the sick, d) the creation of tools and guidelines based on scientific evidence, e) the development of technologies from eHeatlth, and finally f) nationwide interventions and programs for solving current problems and long-term mental disorders and addictions.
