Mission of COE
MCBIR aims to develop research on the central nervous system and peripheral, in healthy and sick.
Research is exemplary of a translational research approach and ranges from:
from the molecule to the bedside, and
from the analysis of neurological diseases to the understanding of the physiology of the nervous system and mechanisms that underlie its operation.
Research developed within the MCBIR involves complementary disciplines such as: neuroanatomy, neurobiology, molecular and cellular neurophysiology, neuroimaging and cognitive science.
