    Research Abstract

    In this study we propose to discover the underlying genetic factors protecting against development of Alzheimer’s disease, as evidenced by cognitive and intellectual health until extreme old age. As such, we approach the dementia problem with a unique innovative perspective: instead of asking which factors are involved in dementia development, we ask how a person does NOT develop dementia.
