Six scientific sessions featuring 32 projects were carried out over parallel sessions throughout the two day symposium.

These six scientific sessions were grouped into three different call topics, namely :

• Personalised medicine (2019)
• Novel imaging and brain stimulation methods (2020)
• Linking pre-diagnosis disturbances of physiological systems (2021)

Each scientific session was complemented by a panel discussion after the presentations. Each panel discussion was conducted by a Patient and Public Involvement (PPI) representative, the project coordinator pitching the project and a member of the JPND Scientific Advisory Board (SAB).
